Last updated: February 28, 2026

Welcome to Doctrine. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Doctrine mobile application ("App") and website at getdoctrine.app (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Doctrine is a mobile application for building mental toughness through daily rituals: vision boards, affirmations, visualizations, evening debriefs, and curated quotes. All data is stored locally on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud storage, and no backend servers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. No account registration is required.

3. Purchases and Payments

Doctrine offers a one-time $9.99 lifetime purchase (Doctrine Pro) that unlocks premium features. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. By making a purchase, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases. Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location.

Refund requests must be made through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly.

4. User Content

All content you create — including vision boards, affirmations, visualizations, and debriefs — is stored locally on your device. We have no access to your content. You retain full ownership of everything you create.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use the App for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App

6. Intellectual Property
